Please stop sending us traditional drawing art and Photography. We don't accept it into our group. Just because our group says "Abstract Freak" does not mean we accept everything that is abstract. What we accept is stated in our rules so please read before you submit your work to us. Also know that we only accept good quality pieces of art and higher, so I will deny your pictures if they don't meet the standards that I or the rest of the staff go by. That includes the stuff we do accept also.

Rules of the Group for Submissions:

You must have at least 1 abstract deviation in your gallery that We consider to be an abstract deviation that matches our gallery content. Your art must also be of good/high quality.

:bulletblue: We only accept 3D Abstract media, such as, 3D Abstract, Abstract Photomanipulation, Vector Abstract, Fractals, Resource Stock, and Bryce/Poser images.

:bulletred: We do not accept any of the following (based on past submissions) Photography, Traditional Artwork (pen/pencil/paint. This includes any digital media that enables you to do traditional drawing).

Q&A: Some people have asked us questions like,

Q: Why wasn't my art accepted?
A: To be plainly said, your art didn't fit into any of our categories or your art wasn't a good enough quality to be accepted.

If there are any questions in this FAQ that has not been posted and you would like to add to, please contact :iconaziroth: with a note of the question. Or, if you just have a general question about these rules, please feel free to contact the admin staff: :iconfantasyps: :iconaziroth: :iconnedxfullmoon:

If you don't accept paint abstract then I should't join CURSE YOU! Why you don't accept paintings?

Hi, thanks for taking the time... I think my comment is relevant because you asked people to read the rules and I did, and found the wording of one rule seemed strange - I'd have thought it is the pictures which are submitted that matter, not what is not submitted but is also in the gallery...

Anyway, my inbox is extremely full and so I'm choosy about what groups to join - I expect a mutual exchange of support when joining groups. If I wanted to just watch people and fave their stuff I'd watch the group only. Being 'allowed to join' a group but not having any work accepted is a bit strange for me, especially when I think the work I'm submitted might just make the grade. I don't expect to submit much to this group but just being a member, putting something in occasionally and looking through the stuff might inspire me to improve.

Anyway, here are the two pics I've submitted, please take 20 seconds to have a look - if you think they're not good enough let me know and I'll stop bothering to submit here... I know it's all the same to you if I'm here or not, but I'm more important in my own humble world... :)

Well, if I were to vote on your pieces, I would hit yes. However, I think the way the group is set up, I don't always get the chance to see what everyone submits. It's weird, I know, but I would be happy to accept those if you resubmit them.

Okay, I resubmitted as you suggested and again it expired. I'm outta here. :D

Hi there... I don't understand the rule 'you must have at least one abstract deviation in your gallery that matches our gallery content'. This seems to have been carried over from your old rule on who you will allow to join the group - now you admit everyone, I think. If I submit something to you it is either okay for your group or it isn't, and if it is okay... well, it's from my gallery... and if it's not okay what does it matter if I have something better in my gallery, I doubt if you are going to look for it :D

I have now submitted two deviations - one expired and the other one is expire. I'd prefer it if you rejected the work - they represent rare items of mine which I think are of an adequate standard for this higher level club judging by the lower end of what I see in here and it would be nice to know if you think they are, or not. If they are not then okay... I guess I'll leave the group, as I can't contribute anything to it at the moment.

I'm not entirely sure why yours are still in limbo (as you would call it). This group was meant to support the artists out there who generate good to high quality art. All I said in the journal was to stop submitting Photography and Traditional Drawing pieces. What you are saying has no relevance to what I said. However, I can answer your question.

We do check the galleries of our newest members. Yes, we accept everyone because at the time of the creation of the group, only certain members were allowed to join who could prove to us that they had the skill to contribute to the groups standards of what kind of art we collect. We changed that because to some, it seemed unfair. So now the group is open for anyone to join, however, that doesn't mean we will accept your art that you submit. If this art group is not for you, then we won't feel hurt if you decide to leave the group. Its your prerogative if you feel this is the right group for you or isn't. People come and go on a daily basis.
